Before departing on a Adventure Works™ adventure, the following forms and waivers MUST BE completed and RETURNED to UWP.

ADVENTURE WORKS™

Provides service-learning adventures and education in the urban wilderness of Seattle's spectacular parks and along the Mountain to Sound Greenway. Youth and adult participants learn the joys of our natural world and how we can protect it. Adventure Works™ offers a variety of unique themed events.

ADVENTURE WORKS HAIKU HIKES™

Experience the urban wilderness of Seattle's spectacular parks and along the Mountain to Sound Greenway. Youth and adult participants learn the joys of our natural world and how we can protect it. Our HAIKU HUKES™ outings incorporate physical exercise with writing exercise. You'll learn the Japanese form of poetry and connect with the natural world and its stories.

Adventure Works outings officially start at the trailhead. The participants may arrange Ride shares by meeting at a pre-determined location. Please indicate if you are driving and willing or need to carpool.

·   $30 for youth. $65 for adults. (Scholarships available)
·   Package discounts available.
·   Family and group discounts 10% for 3 or more.
·   All adventures are on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
·   Hikes begin at the trailhead ( Start Times Vary )
·   Hikers return to trailhead no later than 4:30 pm.
·   Please bring a lunch and 2 full 32 oz. water bottles.
·   Always be prepared for rain and cool temperatures.
·   A waterproof jacket and a warm non-cotton layer is required.
·   Rain or shine we have a good time!

Don't have the right gear? We can lend it to you for a $1- $3 fee. We have non-cotton layers ( fleece and wool, rain jackets and hiking boots).
